A brand evolution driven by clarity and collaboration
We truly enjoyed working with the Companyon team on this project. From the start, they were clear-eyed about their goals but open to creative exploration—an ideal collaboration. It’s a bit like designing a house: our job is to make sure they love living in it as much as we loved designing it. Together, we built a brand and digital presence that reflects who they are, where they’re going, and how they show up for founders and Limited Partners (LPs).

Companyon had quietly become the go-to investor for B2B software startups entering their scale-up phase, but their brand hadn’t kept pace. They needed more than a new website—they needed a brand system and narrative that could evolve with them. Our partnership delivered just that.

Phase I: Brand Strategy & Narrative
Working with brand strategist Kimberly Solarz Gordon, we helped articulate what makes Companyon distinct: their hands-on, operator-first support model and their focus on guiding startups from founder-led hustle to scalable growth. We developed a clear, compelling narrative designed to resonate with founders, LPs, and the broader venture ecosystem—and set the tone for every visual and verbal touchpoint to follow.

Phase II: Brand Identity Refresh
The identity refresh brought Companyon’s personality into sharper focus. We refined the color palette, updated the typography system, and introduced human-centric design elements that echo their values: clarity, momentum, and approachability. The visual system was built to scale across web, print, and motion—making it easy to stay consistent as the brand grows.

Phase III: Website Redesign
We led a full redesign of companyon.vc, creating a streamlined experience that highlights Companyon’s value prop, track record, and team. Our work included content strategy, UX design, visual design, and development—transforming the site into a modern, founder-first platform built for engagement and clarity.

Phase IV: Digital Asset Ecosystem
This project was never just about a website. From day one, our goal was to deliver a brand system Companyon could take and run with—internally, across platforms, and into the future.

Using the strategy and visual language established in earlier phases, we created a robust ecosystem of customizable assets and templates. Designed to be used by a lean team, these tools give Companyon the flexibility to create high-quality materials in-house while maintaining brand integrity.

This toolkit ensures the Companyon team has everything they need to stay sharp, consistent, and scalable—without relying on outside designers for every asset. It’s a foundation for continued growth, inside and out.
