Grid City Beer Works has been a dream project from the very beginning—and one that’s close to home. As a co-founder and Creative Director, I’ve had the rare opportunity to help shape every aspect of the brand from the ground up. Grid City was also one of Design Axl’s very first clients, making this an especially meaningful and ongoing collaboration.
Since day one, Design Axl has worked to build a bold, flexible visual identity system that reflects Grid City’s inventive spirit and deep commitment to quality. Our work spans everything from beer and seltzer can designs to interior and exterior signage, merchandise, print collateral, and overall brand strategy. We’ve crafted a brand that feels just as fresh and unique as the product itself—one that can scale, evolve, and stay true to its roots.
It’s been incredible to watch this brand come to life in the real world, from the taproom in Salt Lake City to store shelves across the region. Many thanks to Ventricle Media for capturing the energy of the space and the people behind it. And here’s to what’s next—we’re just getting started.
