Polyplexus
Polyplexus is a groundbreaking platform developed by Aixxia, a not-for-profit consortium of cross-disciplinary experts, and serves as a program for the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA). Dedicated to advancing the power of science in driving invention and innovation, PolyPlexus facilitates collaboration among scientists, researchers, and innovators to tackle complex challenges. Design Axl was invited by Herzog & Schindler to collaborate on this ambitious project, contributing a complete reimagining of the platform through a new information architecture, visual design, and robust front-end and back-end systems. Recognized for its transformative impact, PolyPlexus earned the Fast Company World Changing Ideas Award in 2021 for North America, highlighting the success of this joint effort.
