Design Axl’s collaboration with NextView Ventures, a partnership that began in 2019, has culminated in an award-winning project recognized in GDUSA's 2024 Best-of-Year competition. Building on years of collaboration, we led a comprehensive brand refresh that included a new brand voice, identity, and a suite of applications such as logo, website, and digital assets. Collaborating with illustrator Dana Smith, photographer Liz Linder, Herzog & Schindler for brand voice, and Code Greene for web development, we crafted a fresh visual narrative that reflects NextView’s vision, team, and investments.

Phase I: Brand Redefinition
Design Axl redefined NextView's brand, creating a cohesive system that ensures consistent communication across all platforms. We developed a refined brand narrative to serve as a foundation for both internal and external messaging, guiding future communications with clarity and impact.

Phase II: Brand Identity
The project included a complete visual identity overhaul, featuring a new logo, typography, color palette, and design principles. Comprehensive brand guidelines were crafted to support consistent application of the new identity across digital and print media, with additional assets, such as illustrations and social media graphics.

Phase III: Website Design & Architecture
Design Axl conducted a strategic audit of NextView's existing site to streamline its content and architecture. We provided copy recommendations and created wireframes that integrated the new brand identity into a clear, intuitive web experience. After gathering feedback, we designed unique pages and templates for both desktop and mobile, delivering high-fidelity wireframes to inform development.

Phase IV: Development & SEO
The approved designs were translated into a custom WordPress theme, built with SEO best practices and responsive performance. We migrated content, conducted rigorous quality assurance testing, and delivered training to the NextView team to ensure seamless site management post-launch.

Phase V: Digital Ecosystem Assets
Finally, we created a comprehensive suite of digital assets to support NextView's marketing initiatives, including social media templates, video intros, and a redesigned presentation deck. These assets were designed to be easily customizable, allowing for flexibility in NextView's ongoing content efforts.
