From Idea to Kickoff
Blue 42 set out to turn football fans into play-calling pros. The vision: an app where users predict real-time NFL plays and earn points for accuracy, bringing the rush of game day to their fingertips. The founders came to us with a bold idea, an ambitious timeline, and the need to transform concept into something fans could actually play with.
Designing the Playbook
We started by mapping the fan journey—onboarding, gameplay, scoring, and sharing—and translating it into wireframes and prototypes that could be tested and refined at speed. Early iterations validated the mechanics and gave us confidence the game would be both intuitive and sticky.
At the same time, we built a brand identity that captured football’s energy and strategy: a confident logotype, bold typography, and a dynamic palette. These choices gave Blue 42 its personality—sharp, competitive, and instantly recognizable.
